The Misteria Paschalia Festival, a trademark of Kraków as a city of early music, is one of Europe’s most important events focusing on Renaissance and Baroque music. It has earned a great reputation thanks to its carefully developed image, integrated concept and carefully selected programme. It presents a wide repertoire featuring new projects prepared especially for Misteria Paschalia. The formula is based on presenting music linked to the Holy Week and Easter, performed by masters and outstanding interpreters of early music. For the last fourteen years, the festival has been attracting music lovers from across the country, as well as promoting Kraków as a city hosting cultural events on a global scale.
