BE FESTIVAL exists to bring the best emerging European theatre companies and visual artists to Birmingham and beyond, offering opportunities to showcase their work; develop and exchange their ideas and practice; create extraordinary new work together; and engage with audiences in unique and innovative ways, with the aim of growing audiences for international theatre both locally and nationally. All of BE FESTIVAL’s year round activity has at its heart the desire to “cross borders”.
