Vitry-sur-Seine, France

The 'Biennale de danse du Val-de-Marne' is a spring bi-annual contemporary dance festival whose first edition dates back to 1979. It is organised, every odd year, in partnership with more than twenty venues in Val-de-Marne and the Île-de-France region. The Biennale presents over 50 shows per edition, bringing national and international companies to 11,000 people. The artistic programme is accompanied by a series of workshops, talks and professional days. It is led by La Briqueterie, directed since 2021 by Sandra Neuveut. The next edition of La Biennale de danse du Val-de-Marne runs from 13 March to 10 April 2025.
