Blues Alive

Blues Alive is an international festival of blues and roots music located in the Czech Republic. The festival was established in 1996 and it is a proud recipient of the Keeping the Blues Alive Award by The Blues Foundation in Memphis. The Festival consists of 3 days full of music, joy, dialogue, and entertainment. Festival formats include concerts, jam sessions, film performances, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions. The main stage is at House of Culture in Sumperk, and the other stages are around the city of Šumperk. Capacity 1800. The Festival also promotes the Blues Aperitiv international talent contest, Blues Alive Tour, and Blues Alive concert series.
