Boka’s night is a manifestation is usually held on the 3rd Saturday of August, and this manifestation is the crown on the summer happenings in the city of Kotor. This event gathers tens of thousands of visitors each year, and it is one of the reasons why Kotor has an amazing reputation for its creativity and the spirit of the citizens of Kotor.

Bokeska noc (Boka’s night) is known for the boat defile, which are being decorated for days. The boats cruise along the Kotor harbor, in a defile, decorated with the lampions. At the same time when the decorated barges move one behind the other slowly, on Kotor squares we have party, music, dance and joyous atmosphere. At the end of the night the best decorated barge is being chosen, and Boka’s night ends with a solemn fireworks.

This is kind of manifestation specific for Kotor because everybody enjoys in it! Young or old, kids or teenagers - everybody loves it!
