Since its first edition in 2015, Festival ByPass wants to create a privileged relationship between composers, their performers and the audience, relying on the vital forces of the music educational institutions and cultural venues. To these dimensions deeply related to pedagogical and artistic events, was added in 2017 the residency in Toulouse and Blagnac of an internationally renowned music ensemble or soloist. After being the frame of a residency of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne of Montréal conducted by Lorraine Vaillancourt in 2017, ByPass guests in 2018 the pianist Wilhem Latchoumia for a week of concerts recitals, workshops and master-class which took place in Odyssud, Toulouse Conservatory and Saint-Pierre-des-Cuisines.
