Classiscal Concerts in Djurs and Mols is an international chambermusic festival that fills the National Park of Mols Bjerge with music the last week of July.

The classical music festival will - in its tenth year - at a high international level put music experience on the map. Inviting and astounding locations in National Park Mols Bjerge provide a sounding board for the exclusive concerts at the festival "Classical concerts - in Djurs and Mols" where the audience will be provided with a unique opportunity of getting close to the music and its performers.

At about 18 concerts and musical activities on 7 days days, some of the Nordic countries’ leading classical musicians perform on new and different stages in the area. Experience for yourself the special magic that arises when music goes exploring in new settings.

The festival has been broadcast to all of Europe through the EBU radio collaboration. Artists such as Christian Ihle Hadland, piano, Göran Söllscher, guitar, Michala Petri, recorder, Bo Skovhus, baritone, Lars Anders Tomter, viola and Carolin Widmann, Benjamin Schmid, Johan Dalene and Karen Gomyo on violin are among the many exclusive musicans that have performed at Classical Concerts –in Djurs Mols since it started in 2011.

Next year the famous finnish composer Kaija Saariaho will be the composer in residence.

The festival is hosting the “ Open Strings Masterclass” for international cellostudents with famous professors during 9 days. By giving thethe young talents a more informal stage to perform at, the students gets a lot of experience and meet a large interested audience and the festival can reach a broader public and is visible at many locations in the area.
