Corearte International Festival

Corearte International Festival, an event where people who loves choir music has the possibility of enjoy singing with people of around the world in a wonderful exchange od culture, maintains its ongoing research, organization, development and implementation of the following tasks: festivals and contests, events, workshops, groups training and artistic / cultural workshops, artistic performances, roundtables, debates, conferences and cultural marketing.

Corearte Barcelona, our main festival and event, is held every October in the city and its surroundings. It is non-competitive and combines the training of participants in workshops with concerts and tours in the city. All kind of choirs are welcome!

For the last 12 years choirs from Norway, Brazil, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, Paraguay, Greece, Argentina, Chile, Denmark, USA, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Russia, Iceland, Ecuador, Romania, Uruguay and Portugal have participated and have contributed to broadcast the music as an art that generates culture and promote the social development.

During our next edition all the participants will prepare Vivaldi’s Gloria with the guideline of the expert choir conductor Josep Prats. Moreover, all the singers will learn and enjoy through different workshops conducted by other choir music experts like Raul Talmar, André Thomas or Oriol Castanyer.

Barcelona, our headquarters city, is one of the oldest in Europe, a city full of history and charm. The variety of artistic treasures, like the Romanesque and Gothic churches or the great buildings and pieces of modern art and architecture such as Dalí, Gaudí, Miró and Picasso, make it a unique place to be. Located between the sea and the mountain, it has found a formidable balance; with one foot in tradition and the other in the avant-garde, Barcelona has the reputation of being the most cosmopolitan and modern city in Spain.
