ECOS Festival de Música Antigua de Sierra Espuña
ECOS Festival de Sierra Espuña 2021 brings early music to the most emblematic places of Sierra Espuña (Murcia).
The support and impulse to emergent musical ensembles is still one of the pilars of the ECOS Festival, that organises every year the ECOS LAB thanks to the support of the University of Murcia. This residencies programme has attracted every year to Sierra Espuña Young ensembles specialised in the historical performance of the music with the objective of bringing them tools to begin their musical career and to experiment around new concert format.
In 2022, ECOS Festival de Sierra Espuña has been awarded the REMA Award "Best Capacity Building Programme" granted by the European Early Music Network, a recognition for the support programme for young talent and the international conferences on "Social Responsibility in the Early Music ECOS Labs”.
