Festival de Saintes

The Festival de Saintes is produced by the Abbaye aux Dames, la cité musicale. Here, music and history, the Festival and the Abbaye are inevitably linked together. Inside a historic building in which middle-aged art and classical style, the Festival has flourished for more than 40 years in an one-off site.
Thanks to its demanding programming, it enables a free exploration of the music repertory : from the ancient music to the contemporary one with also the world music.
