Festival of Bosnian drama and author's theatre Zenica

03 May 2019 - 10 May 2019
Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Festival of Bosnian drama is one of the most significant international events of high culture in the Zenica-Doboj county and is one of the most significant cultural events in BiH, especially in the field of theatrical art. The Festival of Bosnian drama is the only national festival that conceptionally affirms and promotes domestic text and the BH dramatic writers and authors, thus giving its undeniable contribution to the development of cultural production and overall artistic creativity in the country.

Next year the Festival will take place in Zenica, from May 4th to 11th. During the eight festival days the program will feature performances from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, Turkey and other countries. All the dramatic texts are based on the concepts or templates of bosnian authors, creators and artists.

As part of the accompanying program, the plan is to have content of different forms (performances in the accompanying program, documentary exhibitions and photo exhibitions, round tables, promotions, presentations, etc.).
