The Frome Festival is a community/arts Festival which takes place in Venues, Churches, Open Spaces, Studios, Pubs, Gardens etc... throughout the town, for 10 days every July. Many events are free including the Children's Festival, Open Studios and many pub gigs. Lots of events are low cost such as the Hidden Gardens at £5.00 for a trail map. The Festival is run as a charity and is a hybrid Fringe, supporting the artistic community, promoting the Arts and drawing many visitors to our town. The Festival programmes our main headlining acts, these are added to by individuals, artists, promoters, musicians, and venues which are included in the festival brochure and website.The Frome Festival is a ten day multi-arts, multi-platform festival held annually in early July in and around the town of Frome. Exhibitions, walks, workshops, literature and talks are programmed along with all the performing arts. Performers of national and international standing headline over 200 events in a number of venues including The Cheese and Grain hall, the Merlin and Memorial Theatres, Rook Lane Arts, Cooper Hall, The Silk Mill and various community spaces.
