International Gumusluk Classical Music Festival

The Gumusluk Festival is set amongst the ruins of the ancient city of Myndos.. The festival has a six-week long programme of mainly classical events, incorporating a dedicated masterclass programme and a piano competition. Artists from all over the world both perform and teach at the festival. The main venue is the ancient stone quarry of Koyunbaba. Stones excavated from here were used in the construction of the Mausoleum of Halikarnas, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world.
