International Land and Environmental Art Festival "Nature and Art". The "Nature and Art" Festival is an annual open-air exhibition of Earth and environmental art that has been taking place since 2003 Vilnius University Botanical Garden (Lithuania). Every year in September, the garden hosts exhibitions that continue the dialogue between art, the artist, the viewer and nature. This project is an opportunity for artists to present their work in the unique environment of the Botanical Garden. Creators of various art fields present their creations at these exhibitions: sculptors, ceramicists, textile artists, painters, florists, poets, dancers and representatives of other art fields. Recently, foreign artists have also been participating. Each exhibition has its own title - a theme that is an important starting point for the artist: 2003 - "Manor's Objects", 2004 -"Invasion", 2005 -"Illusions", 2006 - "Clones", 2007 - "Signs", 2008 - "Dialogue", 2009 - "Utopia", 2010 - "Survival", 2012 - "Identity", 2013, "Metamorphoses", 2014 - "Déjà vu", 2015 - "Journey", 2016 - "Time", 2018 - "Communications", 2019 - "Discovery", 2021 - "Balance".Most of the exhibitions consist of Land Art, which uses only natural materials, and Environmental Art, which uses various secondary materials. During the opening of exhibitions, a tour is organized, authors present their works to the participants. Works in nature change over time, are affected by weather, sun and rain, disappear or at some point are suddenly reborn in completely different colors. This is how the idea arose to capture this process of change as often as possible, to show its transience and beauty in photos. Curator Inga Raubaite.
