KinoFest - Open Air German Language Film Festival

KinoFest Film Festival is an Open Air German Language Film Festival held in Patras for the first time in 2019. Was organized in an area inextricably linked by German tradition, such as the historic winery of ACHAIA CLAUSS. KinoFest is the only pure German Language Film Festival in Greece. At the same time it is the only one that takes place in a place that is a candidate for UNESCO protected monument.

The 1st KinoFest took place on the 27th and 28th of September, 2019. During the two day event, two German-produced films (2018) were first screened in Patras. KinoFest will take place again between 25th to 27th September 2020 for a second time in collaboration with Goethe Zentrum Patras, Perfecture of Western Greece, ABCinema, German Embassy in Greece, Austrian Embassy in Greece, Swiss Embassy in Greece amongst other supporters.
