Founded in 2008, the festival presents art practices at the crossroads of the South of the Mediterranean Region and the global, as well as the metaphorical South and result from strong artistic collaborations in different cultural and artistic venues of the city.
It promotes artworks stemming from theatre, dance, performance, and visual arts, that offer narratives of existing contexts, and build collective art practices.
