Mänttä Music Festival is the only festival in Finland that has its focus in pianomusic, in all its rich forms. MMF has been throughout its history an important forum for international world-class pianists as well as presenting the national established artists and the young upcoming talents; the future grand artists. MMF takes responsibility of the young generation: International Master Classes are held alongside the festival, a huge possibility for the young apprenticies to meet the Masters.

In 2019 the XXI MMF presents the world-class guests Marc-André Hamelin, Beatrice Rana, Geoffrey Burleson alongside with the Finnish established artists Paavali Jumppanen and Kalle Toivio, not to forget the young talents that will be heard during the whole festival week.
