MEXE - International Art and Community Festival
MEXE - International Art and Community Festival is an event that has been affirmed throughout four editions (2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017), as one of the spaces, national and international, unavoidable of crossing and deepening in the context of community artistic practices and political participation. In previous editions MEXE had more than 1500 participants from 22 countries and more than 20,000 spectators in 130 actions that occupied 30 distinct spaces of the city of the Oporto. The upcoming edition will also have an extension in Faro.
MEXE is organised on the basis of four pillars:

Thought - International Meeting of Reflection on Community Artistic Practices

Documentation - Documentaries Exhibition
