Moving in November Festival

Moving in November Festival, founded in 1986, is the oldest and most significant independent contemporary dance festival in the Helsinki area. Moving in November functions in close collaboration with long-term partners, performance venues and production centers.

With the new artistic director (2020-), the notion of a festival has begun to be challenged. Moving in November has developed towards a wider agency: formed new cooperation networks for international reciprocity, and organized year-round art activities around the city. With a renewed operating model to develop contemporary dance production methods and support the international career of Finnish artists.
