Mużika Mużika is a prestigious platform for all genres of Maltese music and songwriting be it a ballad, rock, pop, R&B, jazz, blues or country, alternative or other. Previous past editions have lost their place in Maltese song history with songs written by authors and created by local and international composers not being truly appreciated and preserved. Through this new festival, fresh hope in cherishing language has re-emerged – thus bringing to light the depth of Maltese talent in songwriting and execution of songs in all its robust and rigorous creative processes and execution. Mużika Mużika creates space – the kind of space where talent is abundant and the Maltese language becomes truly alive.
