This choir festival is named after the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who was born in Toruń in 1473. The city is known as one of Poland's most beautiful cities. The main aim that the Association of Choral Music Enthusiasts ASTROLABIUM and Meeting Music as organizers pursue is promoting music and the animation of music activity, especially choral music in Toruń, poland, and abroad alike.
