Hugging is a simple expression of human warmth. A classic hug is an expression of affection through music. The festival's mission is to show how music can bring love and peace to the whole world.

At festival orchestral concerts there are performances of classical works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Berlioz, and several works for orchestra by Aleksei Shor, and music by Arvo Pärt, Jaan Räätsa, and other Estonian composers.

The artistic director of the project is Michael Bulychev-Okser (USA).
