14th edition of an anual jazz festival that showcases the work the Porto-based community of jazz and improvised music artists is developing. It includes 20 concerts, 2 masterclasses by Ra Kalam Bob Moses and Nate Wooly/Tom Rainey, 4 jam session, the release concert of 3 new albums (out of a catalogue that has more than 100 editions - the label Carimbo Porta-Jazz) and a concert for families about improvisation. This community gathers through the four days of the festival and joins in together a strong cultural root in the Porto music scene, with its collaborations with artists from other parts of Portugal, the Europe and the world.
