Created in 2001 by the director Hubert Colas, Actoral is one of the key events of the cultural season in Marseille and France. In partnership with about twenty cultural venues in the city, Actoral honours contemporary writing, emerging artists and the singularity of their paths and expressions. Its programme of shows, stagings, performances, exhibitions and readings, aims to question the borders between artistic fields, to encourage the discovery of new generations of artists by arousing the interest of a new public, to present the forms of today, and to bring out those of tomorrow.
