Alternativa, first held in 1993, is a festival showcasing a wide variety of music. From free jazz and improve to post-rock or noise, it seeks to deliver the audience a comprehensive experience of contemporary music avant-garde.
Visitors have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with minority music genres representing high artistic quality and creative approaches. Based on festival are formed also new and special projects, which are often the basis for future cooperation of artists.
