BAO Music Festival 2024

Brescia Art Observatory (BAO), which links music, art, nature and public space, is committed to offering a participatory, educational and aggregating cultural proposal to build an increasingly open, active and broader community. Indeed, BAO is set in a context of growing awareness of the importance of culture for social cohesion and development: it promotes cultural accessibility and environmental awareness, offering a wide range of activities for different audience segments and integrating the arts into education and everyday life.

Today, BAO's activities take the form of two macro-events:

- BAO MUSIC FESTIVAL, a summer festival exploring the relationship between sound and nature in Brescia, Franciacorta and the Trompia Valley;

- BAO SOUND EXPERIENCE, a winter festival promoting hybrid and experimental performance interventions, focusing on the relationship between sound and the city.

VISION: the BAO project intends to encourage participation in cultural events and manifestations that allow people to perceive space through innovative artistic stimuli, intensifying the relationship with the territory and the community.

MISSION: the BAO project is committed to creating an engaging and innovative artistic and musical experience in dialogue with the territory, enhancing the relationship between art and nature through low environmental impact actions.
