Baroque 2023 provides a unique journey through the work of Czech baroque cantors. Unknown pieces by Jírovec, Škroup and Koutník will be performed for the first time in renewed premieres. The highlight of the festival is a performance of the Czech's very first opera L'origine di Jaromeritz in Moravia composed by František A. Míča sung in the Czech language. The Festival offers opera productions as well as concerts and recitals. All pieces will be performed by experts on baroque authentic interpretation and will be accompanied by period instruments.
