BoCA - Biennial of Contemporary Arts

BoCA is the main multi and transdisciplinary festival in Lisbon. It develops a diverse cultural ecosystem based on synergies between artistic fields (performaning arts, visual arts, music, cinema), cultural spaces (theaters, museums, cultural centres) and publics. BoCA develops its activities through five axes: commission and production of artistic projects; programming of the biennial of contemporary arts BoCA; long term projects; education programme; and national and international diffusion.
The 5th edition of BoCA, in September and October 2025, will take place in several cultural spaces in Lisbon and in a guest city to be announced.
