Classical
Encounters – same artistic vision, new name
The
annual festival Classical Encounters is an inspiring meeting place
for (chamber)music lovers and a breeding ground for creative
adventure. The festival offers a podium for music, but also functions
as a ‘laboratory’, within which musicians research the artistic
scope of their performance. Our 15th
jubilee in 2018 was the ideal moment for presenting our ‘repackaging’
to the public. From 2018, the festival continued under a fresh new
name that embeds our artistic mission: Classical
Encounters.
A festival that is much acclaimed for its high artistic quality and innovative programming. Her repertoire reaches from the early baroque to contemporary music as involves a wide range of musical styles. Keywords: soundbreaking programs in extraordinary locations, informal ambiance and engaged public, room for spontanity, a yearly changing festival theme.
