EtnoKrakow/Crossroads Festival
EtnoKrakow/Crossroads is one of the largest world music festivals in this part of Europe. Organised without interruptions since 1999, it has become a permanent part of Krakow’s landscape. It is difficult to list all the artists who have visited EthnoKrakow/Crossroads.
During the last seasons the line-ups have included both important representatives of the international world music scene (Alim Qasimov, Kayhan Kalhor, Buika, Alireza Ghorbani, Gurdjieff Ensemble, Mercedes Peón, Taraf de Haidouks and others) as well as leading artists the Polish ethno and world music scene (inter alia: Kroke, Warsaw Village Band, Joanna Słowińska, Adam Strug, Kapela Maliszów, Muzykanci, DagaDana, Maria Pomianowska, Trebunie Tutki, Hańba, Sutari and others).
The festival not only includes music concerts, but also numerous accompanying events: dancing, music workshops and traditional craft workshops. The festival is organised by the Crossroads of Culture and Tradition Association and Krakow Festival Office.
