Culture Week 2023 is a joint professional art project by various European artists from Lithuania, Germany, Austria, Poland, Croatia, Moldova and the United Kingdom. The project is intended to promote and spread the art of classical music in places where it is less accessible. This year, Marijampolė City and its regional municipalities were chosen. The events will be comprised of a series of classical music concerts, an educational program for young people and teachers, an audiovisual and photo art exhibition and an open discussion with the society. Musicians working abroad will have the opportunity to work in Marijampolė, thus promoting cooperation between local and international artists.
