Dar a Ouvir: Paisagens Sonoras da Cidade

Dar a Ouvir: Paisagens Sonoras da Cidade is a sound art festival that will celebrate, in 2024, its 8th edition.

It is a project created by the Educational Service of Jazz ao Centro Clube and since its inception it has been organised in close partnership with the Convento São Francisco / Coimbra Municipality and with the support of other relevant entities (local, national and international).

Dar a ouvir is built on the legacy of the ones like Murray Schafer and Pauline Oliveros, dedicating a huge part of its attention to themes of acoustic ecology, auditory culture and deep listening practices.

The Festival is comprised of concerts, performances, residencies, sound walks, workshops, installations and panels.
