Since its inception in 2003, Eldur í Húnaþingi has grown from a small community based youth arts festival to become the largest annual arts festival in the region. The festival programmes top Icelandic and international acts alongside emerging artists across all disciplines and is dedicated to promoting, celebrating, and inspiring the local community and visitors alike through a diverse, current, and uplifting programme of events for all ages.
