The Ethnocultural Festival "Unity through Diversity" is a large-scale event in the south of Moldova in Taraclia, the center of the Bessarabian Bulgarians. Different peoples come together to showcase and celebrate their unique culture.

The festival offers an opportunity for different ethnic groups to present their music, dances, songs, crafts and cuisine and other aspects of their cultural heritage. The main goal of the festival is to attract attention, promote dialogue and understanding between different peoples, and preserve and recognise the uniqueness of each ethnicity in Moldova. The festival includes a concert where ethnic groups show their folk costumes, jewelry, creativity, and present cultural rituals and traditions. Visitors enjoy music, dance and have the opportunity to participate in various workshops and contests.

At the festival, guests are also invited to immerse themselves in a world of tastes and flavors through tasting and selling a variety of traditional foods. In addition, a fair is organised, which is a real treasure trove for lovers of folk crafts and artisans. Here you can find and buy unique handmade products created by talented craftsmen. The festival creates an ideal atmosphere for immersing oneself in the cultural heritage of different nations through their cooking and crafts.

The Ethnocultural Festival is a platform to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding, and to highlight cultural diversity and its preservation.

During its more than 22-year history, the festival has become an integral part of the cultural life of the south of Moldova.

Every year the event attracts more and more participants and spectators, thanks to which it strives to deservedly obtain the status of International.

In 2023, the festival has grown in scale, attracting representatives from Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Hungary, showing its willingness to expand and become even more global.
