euro-scene Leipzig has been taking place since 1991, every year in early November, and presents over six days 12 to 14 dance and theatre pieces from, and about Europe. The festival programme focuses on current theatre and innovative dance as well as the latest forms of performance presentation, which are intended to challenge on a content-related and formal level: courageous, socially engaged pieces and politically relevant works, as well as performances that touch sensually, emotionally and aesthetically.
