Since 30 years, FIOB is a part of the most prestigious festival of baroque opera in Europe developping : a pioneering artistic policy in the rediscovery of european baroque opera from 17th & 18th centuries on period instruments, in concert version, focusing on excellence of productions and recreation of masterpieces ; a policy of guest baroque european conductors and singers with the most famous but also with the young talents who attracts thousands of music lovers who come from the whole word.
