Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes - FMTM 2025

The Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes (FMTM -World Festival of Puppet Theaters) of Charleville-Mézières is a major event for puppetry art and live performance. It takes place every two years for 10 days and welcomes nearly 100 companies from around the world (86 artistic teams in 2023). The program shows the contemporary creation in all its diversity of forms and contents, whether it is purely puppetry or associated with other arts, such as dance, plastic and digital arts or new magic. The notoriety of the event and its artistic quality make it an essential step as much for the puppeteers as for the persons in charge of programming present at each edition (400 persons in charge of programming in 2023). It is also very followed by a large crowd (155 000 persons in 2023) and the media.
