Rock Nordeste is a free entrance festival happening annually in the city of Vila Real, Portugal. With their roots in the late 80's, the festival began as a band contest for the artists of the region, and later for the whole country. In 2014 it changed direction and turned into a two days summer celebration, showcasing the best acts of the Portuguese Modern Music and becoming one of the greatest cultural event of the country.
