Festiwal Bonawentura

The Bonawentura festival is interdisciplinary in terms of presented fields of culture and art, among which most important are photography, literature and music. The majority of our speakers are authors, mostly of non-fiction books. The photography appears at the screen during the prelections as well as in form of exhibitions presented in halls of the festival’s place.

The festival took a long way from the slideshows of backpacking in remote part of the world to the presenting crucial global problems, thematic issues and cultural monographies of countries, geographical regions and ethnic groups. There is also a place for discussion and a live interaction between the audience and the creators.

One of the goals of our festival is to take all created by mainstream media stereotypes down and promote a true picture of the world, full of openness and appreciation for other cultures.

The Bonawentura Festival plays a huge and relevant role in shaping a modern, tolerant and open-minded society.
