FMM Sines - Festival Músicas do Mundo 2024 - 24th Edition

FMM Sines - Festival Músicas do Mundo is a music festival held in the municipality of Sines, Costa Alentejana, Portugal, every July. Organised by the Municipality of Sines, it is a cultural public service festival populated by spectator-discoverers. Adopting “Music with a spirit of adventure” as its signature, it is defined by a diversified program presented in historical and urban settings of great beauty and authenticity, close to a coast with a protected landscape.

FMM's programming encompasses the breadth of “world music” and transcends its borders. It opens to folk, jazz, alternative music, fusion and urban music. More than a “world music” or traditional roots music festival, FMM Sines is a festival that looks for real world music as it is made and experienced in our time: mixed music, marked by contacts between artists from geographical origins and different cultures, debtors of the movements of ideas and people that define contemporaneity.
