Grenzenlos Kultur Theaterfestival

Founded in 1997, "Grenzenlos Kultur" was the first festival for the art of people with a learning disability in the German-speaking area. While this is still a key aspect, the festival today has become a vibrant platform for many forms of unusual international theatre and art with disabled and non-disabled artists, which often is experimental and always socio-politically motivated. "Grenzenlos Kultur" takes place annually in September in Mainz (Germany), since 2015 at the Staatstheater Mainz.
