Haydn Festival (String quartet)

The Haydn Festival is one of the six musical festivals organised in the framework of Eszterháza Festivities in Fertőd. The event exists in this form since 2013, but it has a longer tradition for more than ten years. It is the meeting point of leading soloists and ensembles committed to the historically informed performance, both from Hungary and abroad. The festival offers the opportunity to enjoy classical music in a space where many of Joseph Haydn’s master pieces were first played.
