International Folklore Festival-Varna

As a summer cultural capital of Bulgaria, Varna is a meeting point of Bulgarian and foreign art events, among which is the International Folklore Festival. The Festival was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Varna Municipality, which is its main organizer. In the 25 editions so far 150 folk ensemble or over 10,000 participants from 50 countries in Europe, Asia and America, and another 56 amateur and professional ensembles from Bulgaria have taken part.
