Divadelná Nitra is the largest international theatre festival in Slovakia and has gained a reputation as the discoverer of new names, topics and trends. Since 1992 it has been a platform for exchange between East and West, a space for thinking about theatre and the world, an initiator and partner of international cooperation projects and an organizer of education and art therapy. It is a selective but non-competitive parade of top European contemporary performing arts as well as other artforms.
