International theatre festival Sens Interdits

Launched in 2009, festival Sens Interdits invites artists from all over the world in constant flux to explore questions of memory, identity and resistance. Choosing theatre as their weapon, these voices use the stage to openly tackle the otherwise forgotten or taboo: they dare to take a stance, dig up the past and to confront painful truths. This is a theatre of urgency, a deeply political theatre that informs the world, illuminates the present and helps to shape the future.
