The Academy Award® and BAFTA-qualifying festival is one of the leading annual film events in the UK, featuring a vast and eclectic selection of filmmaking with priority selection for under-represented talent. LIFF welcomes submissions of features and shorts, narrative or documentary and live action or animated, and awards 5000€ in cash prizes in its short film competitions. Last year the festival presented a huge variety of exceptional films at over 300 events at 30 venues over 16 days.
