Les Epopées au Coeur de l'Yonne

Created in 2021, the Festival Les Epopées au Coeur de l'Yonne takes place every year in August. The Festival's artistic director is Claire Lefilliâtre. The festival takes place at the same time as the Epopées summer academy, bringing together established musicians and up-and-coming young talent. The festival, dedicated to early music, features around ten concerts each evening in different towns and villages, reaching out to different populations. Free baroque dance classes are offered to local residents, and the final ball is a chance for everyone to get together. The Festival ends with a concert by the summer academy trainees.So we invite you to take a journey: a journey through time, a journey through places... Let's set sail for new horizons! The music will be our ship, and the wind will carry us the scents of distant horizons...
