MUDRI BRK FESTIVAL

After two excellent editions, the third festival summer will be held from July 25 to 28 this year. The festival will last four days this year.

In addition to the central music program on July 26 and 27 in the Summer Cinema of Jelsa, the Mudri Brk festival will feature cinema screenings, workshops for children, after-beach parties, quizzes and guest appearances by foreign artists at several locations in Jelsa.

In addition to great music, they would like to provide all visitors with the opportunity to educate about ecology by participating in ecological actions and taking care of ecology at the festival itself. On this occasion, we have designed the following events that we will hold:

1. Education

a) Lecture on water protection and preservation of biodiversity and the environment

b) Workshop on the creation of patent filters for percolating wastewater in nature and rehabilitation of the terrain of hearths in nature, and how to deal with waste during a stay in nature

2. Ecology workshops for children

- waste separation and recycling workshop

- educational and research game

- ecological quiz with an application of learned knowledge

3. The action of cleaning the wild waste dump in the town of Jelsa in cooperation with the organizers and with the help of volunteers from the Jelsa High School.

4. Zero waste exchange of goods

Exchange of used goods for residents at one of the festival's locations. All goods that do not find their owners will be recycled in textile containers.

5. Environmental care in the organization of the festival itself

The idea of ​​the festival is to reduce the amount of garbage and pollution to a minimum and promote the possibility of recycling.

Last year's DJs who opened the festival were the youngest DJs of the festival, DJ Svemir (8) and DJ Čemer (17). Since they wowed in their first year, they earned resident status yearly. But soon they will be joined by many musical names who play a lot of good music.

Since 2022, Mudri Brk Festival has been a proud part of the European Festival Association (EFFE label) and a beneficiary of the European Festivals Fund for promising artists.

The organizers are Mudri Brk and the Association for the Promotion of Culture "Jelsa;" the main sponsors are TZO Jelsa and the Municipality of Jelsa, and it is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and HDS Zamp.
