The association La Main Harmonique and Frédéric Bétous, his artistic director, motivated by the desire to promote discovery and excellence in rural areas, have been organizing the Festival 'Musique en Chemin' for 12 years in the heart of the Gers, in the magnificent village of La Romieu and its medieval collegiate church listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Festival Musique en Chemin, a privileged moment of encounters, welcomes each year a few thousand festival-goers for three days of music, sharing and discoveries around original and excellent concerts, conferences, walks and convivial moments. Designed to reach a wide audience, the program, primarily classical, is open to other styles and periods.
