Musical Festival of Colors of Podlasie

Festival of music identified with Podlasie, which is a colorful, multicultural region, 
abundant in a multitude of musical forms (from Kurpie, Masuria, to folklore associated 
with the borderlands, church music) but not necessarily known to people living 
in the north-west part of it, or inhabitants of the Kolno commune, 
but also more widely Kolno poviat. The idea of the task is to organize 
a musical review for which folk bands will be invited but also presenting 
contemporary folk music in a specific Podlasie form. The invitation was 
also directed to Polish diaspora teams from Belarus and Lithuania, where a 
large group of Poles lives. The two-day festival, which in the first presents 
children's folk bands in the next all others. The festival takes place in July 
during a specially prepared outdoor event, which consists of two parts, in the 
first bands march through a colorful procession through Zabiele, where the
 whole event takes place. Subsequently, the presentation of bands on stage takes place.
